Dr Kav is the founder of Auckland Family Dental. Growing up in the North Shore he attended Westlake Boys. After College, he left for Dunedin in pursuit of a Dental degree at the prestigious University of Otago. On completion of his Dental degree, he accepted a job in New South Wales, Australia. After a few years of practice there, he developed a keen interest in surgery, and in 2007 returned to Auckland and enrolled at Auckland University to complete his Medical degree (MBChB).

In 2013, Kav established the Auckland Family Dental brand. He has since added 6 dental practices to the brand. He specialises in all aspects of general dentistry but particularly enjoys Dental Surgery, Implants and Crown work. Kav has completed the POS system of orthodontics and has a large client base. Kav offers patients the choice of IV sedation
